This is a lovely piece. Great concept beautifully rendered in digital art. I like sunsets too, skies are a wonder of nature with such varieties and you have captured the essence here. I particularly like the sort of row arrangement of colours, that actually happens especially in water scenes. Your waves arriving on the beach area are very impressively realistic. Those birds add the finishing touch.

I think this is a picture with a strong visual impact because of the strong colors from the sunset, and I especially like how the setting sun is reflected in the water. The small incoming waves are also well done, and it is a fine shine in the water.
The birds in the sky adds interest, and I like that a bit of the blue sky is showing. It offers a nice contrast to all the golden colors.
I do however think that the land dividing the sky and sea could have been less distinct since it is far away, and it is also unfortunate that it has cut the picture in half. In my opinion it should have been sitting further down.
Still this is an all together lovely and well done digital painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thanks Annie, I usually don't like to cut an image or painting in half. It can sort of work with reflections to capture the full extent of reality and reflection. The dark land band in the middle can be changed to less dark, good idea.

How the color shades change from blue to red and then to yellow is fascinating. The white foam at the small waves approaching the beach, and the textures of the sand grains are interesting. The silhouettes at the horizon and of the birds flying home emphasize the colors. The seascape is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
