This is a fantastic photo and I love how you have captured the storm, I did not know that you was also a storm chaser also. I can see this in a frame and you caught it at the right time, the more that I look at it it almost looks like a painting, this is an amazing piece of work from an amazing photographer. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing and by the way stay out of those storms. JackJr.

A very beautiful and moody landscape,I love the pop of color from the autumn hued grasses lining the road. The stormy sky with it's hazy rain bands make for a perfect fall scene, along with the silhouetted skeletal trees reaching up to claw at the rain laden clouds. A beautiful composition, Pat!

HI Pat - Well I'll say this, you sure know how to change gears! Lordy this looks forbidding. The visual impact of this scene is awesome. Solid camera settings. The grass on the side of the road stark contrast with everything else. The positioning of the road brings a flavor of solitude.

In many of my reviews I go on ad nausea about the obvious fine technical and artistic merits of the post I am reviewing. I am not going to do that for this review. Instead I will consider the first and most important question I ask myself when I review a post; "Does the post I am looking at speak to me?" Yes, this one speaks to me on many different levels of consciousness. Its dark countenance stirs emotions and evokes feelings of trepidation, anxiety, steadfastness, but perhaps most interesting curiosity. Curiosity about what lies waiting in the mist across the bay or what awaits the traveler around the bend of the road?

If the viewer will listen this piece has many stories to tell and that is what makes this shot so special ... Bob P B-))

This is a good capture of a uniquely named bay: Resurrection Bay and the atmosphere around it of this storm, lovely bay and hilly shoreline. The yellowed grasses and road with foliage on this side of the bay enhance the scene. Good capture of an oncoming storm.

Outstanding landscape photo! The weather condition makes it so unusual and dramatic! And the name Resurrection Bay makes the feeling even stronger. Enhanced contrast add more drama to it. The composition is flawless! Nice achievement! Happy Thanksgiving Pat!!!

This looks like a painting, wow, look at the moving rain clouds, Im thinking of the BC coast now with all the flooding that is going on there, its tragic for all the farmers losing all the crops like blueberry and raspberries, I thought Oh NO, no more blueberry wine, they make the best lol

i know it feels like a gloomy day on this capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the storm approaching over the water towards road is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Oh wow is all I can say about this photograph. The sky looks so menacing and the angle of the shot with the road takes you right into the storm, a marvellous capture, well done Pat
