Human Skull & Leg Forms

A human skull and leg I drew via pencil on black.

Your drawings themselves in are well done, they have great depth. But your composition doesn't do them justice. They seem randomly placed with little creativity. The flat colour of the background seems like these could be used for educational purposes, to study in a text book, rather than an art piece. Thanks for sharing

Yes, I know. I just put them in my black background I did after drawing and scanning in. I was not trying for my best, just needed to enter something I had drawn in this one and the drawings be the focus. Strange how differently artists interpret drawings. Several others admire this piece, one calling it more than excellent. Really the drawing was for curves and lines but I didn't get it in ontime for that contest. Maybe next time a better work.

You make me really speechless with this content as it is not alive in face and leg, so lol, I only can admire your knowledge, of how we look like once we are leaving our body
I love your smiling face and your detailed work is more than excellent in both parts as the leg has so many different details and forms that it is outstanding - a different and outstanding presentation, thanks for sharing this idea, well done

well drawn. We had to draw a series of such items before we were permitted to go into creative painting to show we could actually draw. They are very good practice. I often told pupils to draw the corners of windows and cornices too.

Thank you artist friend. Encouraged as I meant this originally for another contest but didn't get it in on time so just presented it here and may be able to do a better, different composition for lines and curves in the human form.

the human body is the basis of life drawing in colleges all serious art students have to cover in its many aspects, so it will be worth your while and effort.

Your contemporary style is intriguing. Although, this drawing has realistic contents, the overall look is surreal. The scull reminds of Halloween cartoons. The scull seems grinning and the eye-holes look like dark glasses. The leg has a human shape but how muscles and tendons intertwine looks alien. I get the impression that you left the dark space at the left corner to imagine which body part inhabitants it. I like that you use realistic proportion and perspective. The drawing is well composed. The composition is balanced.

Your drawing shows excellent form of the leg and muscles and is interesting to view. The black background gives nice highlight to the details and the addition of the smiling skull makes this feel lighthearted and gives nice balance. Best wishes for the contest!

Thank you. I originally meant it for the human form contest but was too late to upload as a part of the human body, form, or with circles and lines. Thanks kindly.

Interesting entry for this contest, the human leg is well rendered with such good detail to show its structure under the sun, the leg is well shaped. The skull and neck are well shaped with good structure well shown cavities for the eyes and nose, good work to show the teeth.
Well placed on the black background, allowing a good look at both the human leg and skull.
Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thank you. Don't know that its especially suited for this contest but hope it is ok as I was too late uploading it for another one, regarding human form probably in circles and lines. Really appreciate your support, really do.

That leg! That's very realistic, like an X-ray. It's pretty close to being perfect! And I'm a huge fan of skulls and such. I mean, a HUGE fan so anything skulls I love no matter what it is. But that leg is really good. I'm sitting here as we speak with a broken ankle and foot so I'm all to familiar with the X-rays of the leg and foot. I'm impressed. Well done!

Thank you, friend artist. How is your ankle doing, any better? My sister broke her ankle on both sides and sprained the other ankle. It took awhile. Shall be praying for a complete recover and quickly. Bless you.

An interesting presentation of anatomical forms. Both elements well defined against a dark background and noticeably leg muscles stand out in formation.

Thank you, kind artist. I think I originally intended it for curves and lines in humanity or similar, but didn't get it uploaded in time. Appreciate your kind words.

An interesting composition. I appreciate the intricate details to achieve this oresentation. It is indeed unusual and I like the unusual. There is an element in modern abstractism here and that is not common therefore adds to its impact. Kodos on your creativity.

Thank you, artist friend. I had done this some time back to enter as lines and curves in the contest but couldn't get to it in time so I entered this. Thanks for your encouragement.

This is really amazing. Beautifully painted especially the leg showing the muscles. I really love the skull you rendered I don't find them easy to do at all. Amazing job on this piece. I wish you lots of luck in the contest

Thank you, so much my friend. I had probably better regarding the human form, but wanted to save it for the contest, I believe you created. You are kind and insightful and I appreciate it.
