Beautiful flower. Love that red and the yellow center with the reddish highlights. Nice dark background adds to it. Really good photography. The petals fading or reflected on the side is nice also.

The clarity of the red petals against the black background is perfect! Shows me the one thing you wanted me to see is the flower. Many times simplicity is the best. The stamens, each one is so sharp around the yellow center.

I love the way the lighting has on the look of this beauty!
I did this one time outside using a flashlight. It made a very interesting photo. Just like yours, the background went black.
