The plan worked! You got a perfect portrait of this guy- and taken at a great angle. The bird not only cooperated at holding still, but turned his head to make the shot sensational. Congratulations!

I like how you can see the texture of the feathers on this bird. The branches are in sharp contrast to the blurred background which makes the bird "pop" in the picture. Very nice picture.

I actually looked up this bird and heard it's sounds, it's fascinating that a bird can mimic the sound of a cat, I also discovered that we have a grey cat bird here too, I will be looking for it!
This one is beautiful and I especially like it's pose, it faces away allowing such a good look at its feathers on back and wings, I like that it turned its head allowing such a good look at its face and the all important eye.
This is of course, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is correct, colors snd tones appear natural. I like the way the branches frame it .
Well composed with nice placement within the frame . Well presented!

These birds ARE tough to photograph. I have dozens of takes and maybe 4 might past muster. But we just keep trying.

A very nice shot. They seem to like be near water and in the springtime I sometimes see them eating the grape jelly I put out for the orioles. Very nice colors and good detail in the plumage.
