Beautiful mountain scenery stretching out beyond the horizon under a cloudy sky the sun's rays breaking through the gaps in the clouds above to highlight the green mountains in the centre. The tall Pines in the foreground drawing the eye to them. The most distant mountains seen through the mist or heat haze so they appear to be blue. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Thank you so much. It was a good drive, although it whetted my appetite to see the whole of the Parkway! We just saw a small part.

This is a very fine landscape with blue mountain backdrop. All aspects are interesting and well placed within your framing. I like how your focus has captured the highs and low shadowing. This has created a feeling of space and dimension its a beautiful shot.

A beautiful scene, I think the clouds is what makes this so nice, all white and high above the horizon, hazy blue in the far far away, the mountains that bring us to reality, It almost looks like a carpet lol

We have a Blue Ridge Parkway near us and the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Virginia. The sky is really good, thick with clouds or they are thick. The landscape is nice, looks like a painting somewhat. Good work.
