The spiderweb is lovely, plain, and the most remarkable item in the scene. The way you blurred the background is nice. The dried looking sides may take away from the scenic spider web but is is photographed nicely.

A beautiful image which I like even better than your painting of it. The composition is elegant and the colors are great. Best of luck in the contest.

A beautiful capture of this spiders web taken on a dewey day. They are indeed created by miniature artists. Nicely caught and presented. Well doner and good luck in the contest

Great title and for sure a special discovery of the place - your close up picture is excellent, and your sharpness lets us see the details in full part with even the plants around it used to create this outstanding huge spider web
a really great presentation -congratulations

One thing that I kind of hate and that is running into spider webs on my way to work. I knock them down but the next day they are back. I don't mind them in the yard but not across my front porch. They are amazing creatures to watch but they can be real scary sometimes. You never know where they are and where they have put that web. I want to wish you the best this tear and have a great weekend also. JackJr.

Cool,Lise!
Spider's webs ( especially moisture dampened ones like this ) are always fascinating to see and your photo of this one suspended from the bushes looks great in my opinion! : )

Love spider webs but never seem to capture them very well - this one is great as you can see the intricate weaving which always remind me of the old fashioned crochet doilies my mom made. Great composition, focus and color. Love to see some of your paintings. :)

I am not surprised to hear that these captures sell. When I traveled the Arts & Crafts circuit 10% to 15% of all my sales involved insects and in particular spider webs. I don't like spiders per se, but if tramping around in old barns and bushes for a good web shot means the difference between Steak or McDonalds for supper after the gig - I'll risk the spiders.

Webs without the spider the string of pearls like you captured is the best view. Webs with the spider dry works well because the strands show the weight of the bug. Well done, excellent camera settings, fine focus I can count the droplets.

Nice shot ... Bob P B-))
