This little visitor is precious. It seems that the little guy fluffed its plumage to keep warm. I like the confident pose of the bird. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The bird is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

gorgeous little bird, special as a Christmas visitor. We have a Robin Red breast in England, which comes in the winter they say. Not seen one yet. Coming to USA on 16th January.

What a cute little fluffy bird. He almost looks to cute to be real. I wonder if they are a type of finch. I found this link on the Internet of the delightful chirping, which I am sure you must be very familiar with... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ts79aCu5zY

Awesome shot! The use of the natural sunlight is truly remarkable! Perfect position of the bird and composition. I like the red accent on his head. Nicely done, my highest 6star rating with a compliment. Happy New Year Pat!

How sweet. It is a cutie. Like the blackish colors/stripes in the yellowish body along with the softness of it and the adorable head. And, like your photography of the scene, a somewhat simple scene but that you brought beyond that.

A beautiful shot of a redpoll. I shoot birds as well, never had the opportunity to shoot this one yet. I love the fact that you highlight it's one characteristic that ids him. Good luck in the competition.

What a cute little bird Pat. Great pose with the head turned. Good placement of the bird in the frame.

The details are sharp especially in the face, beak and eye. Colors are natural. I like the ambient lighting in this.

Nice work Pat ~ Steve

Pat...Oh so, so sweet is this little Red Poll. It almost looks like a painting. He is posing very nicely for you perched on the slim branch. I love the way the sunlight catches him on the breast and face, highlighting his little eye and beak. Great clarity and wonderful composition Pat.
