How beautiful! The color is so deep and rich. There is just enough variation in the color to give it depth. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your plants. I could kill a cactus. No green thumb for me.

This is of course a perfect entry for this contest, the shade of orange is just gorgeous! I like the way you show this close to fill the frame. I don't believe. Have ever seen an orange rose in person. I can imagine how stunning they look on the bush.

Beautiful flower, rose, and photography of it. Best wishes in the contest as it definitely is in gorgeous shades of orange. Think it may even be better if it were not filling the whole space; but, then again, it is beautiful either way. Like the touches of yellow in the upper left corner.

It's such a beautiful click- soul uplifting sorts. The gorgeous rose petals in those splendid folds so vividly captured in the click. Even I love roses and this click of yours takes me to a watercolour painting of mine which I had done almost similar to your photograph- mine was milder peach rose. Kudos and best wishes for the contest- to me, it's the winner

The orange colors really stand out and capture the attention of the viewer. This is such a beautiful rose and is a wonderful tribute to your mother.
The focus could have been a bit sharper yet the bold color really makes up for it.
