This is a really beautiful photo!! The flowers are definitily unique. It sounds like you went on quite an adventure!! The property sounds like a hidden gem!! I love history like that!! I hope we get to see more images from you taken there, it sounds fun!!

Thank you so much for a fine review and excellent rating. The property is named Mountain Pond by its original owner Mr. Henry B. Harris. As the name implies there is a beautiful large pond complete with a large flat rock outcropping which my companions and I soon discovered was quiet suitable for a picnic lunch. On the walk up to the pond we crossed an arched stone bridge constructed fully from local field stone. We didn't take any shots of the bridge we were in a hurry to get to the pond we all swore we'd stop on the way back. On the way back we're so tired lets just get to the car. ... Bob

A beautiful picture taken from a special angle and position as we can see the different flowers in different positions and even one which has not opened yet - a nice frame choice and great natural color combination making this picture attractive and beautiful as white is radiating purity and that is shining out

This is such a lovely picture of this white flowers. The petals do seem very lovely and translucent almost like wings. Beautiful composition you capture and thank you for sharing the story how you found these flowers are absolutely stunning and thank you so much for sharing

These are just lovely , there is something so special about the white petaled flowers and the combination of green and white together , the two blooms are well placed within the frame I like very much the buds at the top and the flower that is just starting to unfold, this allows us a look at the three different stages of the flowers life.
You have photographed these so very well with spot on focus, this image is crisp and clear, exposure is perfect,I see such well defined detail in each of the white petals and in that center too.
The flowers step forward from the soft green and black tones in background.
This is well composed and presented! It would make a wonderful addition to a calendar that featured flowers for each month.
This is worthy of a six, sadly I don't have one to award. It's beautiful work and a pleasure to view!
