I really do love this photo. I shoot birds as well, so I know how difficult this shot is. I was thinking about submitting a photo, but I don't have anything to compare to this in this category. Good luck to you in the contest, so far you have my vote.

A great entry to the odd shot contest! Seeing the small bird perched atop the larger pelican is an odd sight indeed! Nicely focused with great framing and all natural colors to enjoy. Best of luck!

What an interesting and humorous image, the gull standing on top of the pelicans head. I like the wings position of the gull , the pelican seems to tolerate this quite well.
Well captured with good timing and nice stop of the action.
Well focused, this image is clear ,exposure is correct, all colors and tones appear natural. .
