This is a truly great portrait of a young eagle, and it could not have posed for you in a better way. I think especially the eye is well captured, and I also like the simplicity with just the sky as a background. The bird is standing out from it in an excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and the placement of the eagle off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

He really does look deep 8n thought or on the point of a snooze. Good close up of this young Eagle. The quality of details is excellent. The focus is fine and the colours look natural.

Good close up Pat of this eagle and the long lens has made the dof so much better,detail in the feathers is good as well,wish we could see these wild as well,although they are in remote places in the uk...Brian
