Great "catch" Bob! Enjoyed your notes and happy to hear the bee was able to fly away.
Fine focus, controlled white balance and nice POV.
Nicely done :)

Hi Bob, the daylily is so pretty in its fresh orange petals and the deep red/ orange that surrounds the deep center and puts a ring around the bee.the bee appears to be trapped beneath the tall stamens .
This is a well captured flower and it is a nice placement within the frame.I appreciate that you included the bud above it on the left , this gives us a look at the two different stages of life.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, all colors and tones appear natural, well defined detail and texture of the petals and stamens too , the bee shows very well , I'm glad it made it out alive!
This has such a warm , summer feel! Well composed and presented!

This orange day lily is truly lovely, and it looks like this bee think the same. Probably for different reasons than mine, but it was obviously totally caught. Good to hear that the stamen trap was not strong enough.

You could write a whole story with this photo as a background, but since I don't have time, I will just tell you that it is sharp with clear details, and that the exposure is perfect.

The tight framing is fine, and the flower with the bud has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo.

Nice shot of this colourful flower and it's inhabitant. The composition is well chosen and nicely balanced. The colours and tones appear natural and vibrant. The bee inside really adds interest. This would have made a great contest entry!! Well done, thanks for sharing

Great capture showing this poor bee trapped inside the Daylily but thankfully he managed to find a way out. I like the angle you used for this. Very good lighting and focus showing great clarity. Excellent composition. Suzanne

Beautiful orange color Day Lily and I love the way you have incorporated the bud. The mottled background complements the image nicely and the trapped bee adds to story. Sharp focus.

This is beautiful work of a beautiful subject. The flower is gorgeous as is the bulb coming on and the background. The bee is fine, but can't see as well; kinda looks like it is caught in the orange flower strings in the middle. But, it is still beautiful and well done indeed!
