An excellent in flight image of the seagull as it swoops down. A tad tightly framed on top wing but I can understand how difficult it is for bird in flight to frame it perfectly. Color and focus are good.

A very nice looking gull and a fine shot. The exposure for the gull is very good and he looks great against that blue sky. I might prefer a bit more space above his wing.

I especially like the simplicity of this photo, and also the way the light is shining through the feathers. The stop action is perfect, and the seagull is standing out from the lovely blue sky in an excellent way.

The focus is spot on and sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird. The white balance and exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is very good, and I also like the placement of the bird off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.

This is just the best in flight bird shot I've seen in a long time.

This is probably one of the toughest shots to get right and sir, you just raised that bar.

Love the contrast between bird and bright blue sky. Excellent filtered light through the feathers - very dramatic and a lot of eye appeal. Exposure and focus are spot on tight and sharp.

All technical and artistic considerations are well within the scope of 'Right on Man' ... Bob

This is a beautifully taken shot of this gull. I live on the lake we call em s@#t hawks. You have managed to make him look majestic with the light and beautiful blue sky. Well done, thanks for sharing

Very cool image of this seagull in flight.

Placement in the frame is good. The dark blue background works well in setting off and emphasizing the bird.

The focus is sharp and the colors appear natural. Nice work.

A very simple photo to the non photographers. Very interesting to the rest of us. Beautiful details on the gulls body. Great sun catch on the wings. Some non photo may say the bird should be in the middle. To us it is right in place.

almost all your pics are called "dramatic"; maybe better to keep it for the very few "dramatic" capture;
good exposure for the white; his right wing is too close to the top;

The majestic Gull on it's descent and further ventures, possibly a delicious morsel. The bird's features are distinct, feet out for a landing. The lighting of the wings and tail demonstrate their translucence. Nice job.
