You are so fortunate to live near the mountains. It's unusual to see your photos in black and white. At first I wondered if it was an extremely dreary day or what! :)
It's interesting to see the snow or frost on the tips of the tree branches.

I am feeling cold just looking at the frozen landscape, but the winter scenery is beautiful. How the frost clings to the trees, is striking. The mountains in the background are impressive. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused and exposed. The B&W monochromatic emphasizes the frozen beauty remarkably. The landscape is perfect composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

I get to see glacial rivers only through these adventurous treks and there you are sharing this gorgeous shot of frozen glacial river by driving to the place!! It's just all frozen and covered with snow. Bitter winter you experience out there. I love viewing shots from an altogether different climatic zone like yours. Kudos for sharing this splendid photograph
