A very good looking image posted here! Your fine and full composition offers us an enjoyable view of the cold location before you. Shades and tones are good. Nicely taken!

This is nice in black and white. I like this section better than the other. You have done well with this Knik River part, probably enhanced its appearance actually.

Very interesting notes Pat along with this equally interesting scene. It looks bleak and so cold too.... it reminds me of a sketch in graphite . I like the forefront behind The flat frontage.. that looks like a small headland or island. The take is in fine focus and presentation.

Thank you so very much ! It was very cold on this day. It has since warmed up considerably!

Absolutely stunning photograph of a winter scenery on a cold and most likely cloudy day. The black and white presentation is so suitable since there are very little colors going on anyway. The details are crisp and so nice to view in the this high mountains country site.
Pat, thank you for sharing.

'Awesome',Pat!
( as the girls would say! )
The Black and White filtering gives this 'freezing' scene a 'Classic Pleistocene' look that makes me think of the 'Icw Age' murals painted behind the mounted skeletons of the Wooly Rhinos and Mammoths at the American Museum of Natural History down in New York City!
OUTSTANDING!
