Quite a striking and puzzling image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of what seems to be the interior of a jungle! Nicely painted!

It's an attractive and interesting presentation,my friend!
It makes me think of the ceremony of the 'Wicker Man' which doesn't have anything to do with Native Americans but which at least some of my ancestors believed had something to do with honoring our Goddess.

This definitely is interesting review, one I never expected. You must have ancestors from Summerisle by Loch Broom in the Highland area. Very informative, Sean. I often wondered if there is any correlation between 'Burning Man' and 'Wicker Man'. Thank You. Ray G.

The is indeed a ceremony by the river, it's a celebration of colors and light and shadows, I see foliage surrounding the river and love the way you show the way the river reflects the foliage as well as the light, shadows and colors, this has a magical feel, it's a place I would love to be just to take it all in.
Very well created, beautifully arranged and presented!

Excelkent abikity with that kalket knife. The strokes are string in depth and angle and gives this movement and perspective as the light patches penetrate through as sky would through a forest... this is a very earthy pallet. There is indeed a sense of reflection. Overall interesting and attractive.

Ray, I absolutely love this beautiful painting.
Adding the pond gives the enchanted forest little more reality and is great place to have ceremonial activities.
The abstract painting with such creative technique suits you so well. The creative vision makes the ordinary idea into something really special.
Great work, keep the style going.

Jirina, your comments are so inspirational. As far as the painting is concerned, I find it exciting. I lay some color down and add one color and then the next, add some darkness and take some away. Even though I am controlling it, sometimes I feel like it is out of my control and that I am on a journey, along for the ride, so to speak. This was definitely the case with painting. I am so glad that you like it. Your opinion of my work is very important to me because you are such a talented photographer and have the ability to see and it shows in you work. Thank you again. It's such an appealing piece of artwork you created. It's such a gorgeous forest woodland you painted in acrylics. It is such a heady cocktail of eye catching colours and I love the abstract finish. Kudos for sharing this lovely artwork

Love the colours you used in this delightful abstract acrylic painting with your palette knife, Ray, showing the forest scene with the colours reflected in the pond. Lovely imaginative creation. Suzanne

This is really beautiful!! The colours are well chosen. I indeed see the reflection pond and the trees. I like it when the art reveals ideas of its own. Well done!!
