The dark green backdrop really makes the orange color coms through even thought there is a lot less of it. It's presence does not get lost. I do see the hints of aqua which are not as obvious but it's there. I like that because it could symbolize people of God who do the most to live up to a Christian life but are less visualize. They are the s, "right-handed people" who don't let the left hand know what's it's doing. Congratulations on another one of many recognitions.

I would love to watch you create your art. This one is outstanding. The idea that Mother Thereesa has made an appearance is other worldly. The overall scene looks like it is in a catacomb. The ghostly outlines of the figure give me chills. The vertical and horizontal knife strokes give an appearance of stonework of the catacomb's interior. Outstanding creativity.

I always find these images interesting however am I evil if I do not see mother Theresa? I see a Skelton faced woman to the center right and higher up on the left I see an upright male lion face.
This was fun and interesting, and I hope it doesn't put me on the evil list for what I see. Hahaha.
Nicely created. Thank you for the fun.

Monica you are not evil, I will call it inquisitive and thats good. Before I put you on the evil list, I will tell you where she is but you have to promise me that you will read the reply I gave to Susan. First go to the middle of the painting, then go directly to the middle of the upper half and that is where you will find Mother Theresa in her red and white shawl. Do it on the large picture. Then let me know how you made out. I am glad you enjoyed it. Ray

Ray,
A beautiful & very colourful painting in your unique style I see a wall with water flowing down over it then trees reflected on the water. Looking closely I can also see Mother Theresa & other nuns in their habits standing in a line.
Created by your artist's eye for composition, beautiful choice & application of your colours with the palate knife in bring this image to life on your canvas.
Susan

Susan thank you so much for this wonderful review. I am so glad you could see into it and enjoy it. I'll be honest with you, I am not a religious man. This was quite an experiment in color. Sometime things just happen and that is the case here. I used three colors dark green, orange and a touch of yellow. I painted this with a nonchallant attitude. Rotating the painting several times putting paint on and taking it off, with no theme. To myself I was admiring all the different effects that just came about. I then laid it on the pile. I came back later after it dried and I took a better look and to my amazement I saw the visage of mother Theresa and others. What a pleasant surprise. Sorry for the long dissertation. Thank you for your wonderful review. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Ray

This is so cool and meaningful for many. Your choice of using brown and green was a good choice for this piece. Great color, contrast and artistic view.

This mystery post makes me think of some forgotten very wet, red stone, moss-covered rain forest cliff with ancient artwork to be discovered. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely abstract, acrylic palette knife painting with imagination. I too can see scratched like forms; regardless, you did a fine job. But I can also see beautiful boulder-like rocks with foliage dropping artistically over it. However, the color is more orangish than red with reds in them.

Well, this is a fascinating composition and all the more interesting due to Mother Theresa. I love the dominance of green over red in the artwork. It's such an appealing piece of artwork- kudos

I have to admit that I would not have seen Mother Theresa if you had not pointed it out, but I did not have to look long before I saw her.

I especially like the color pallet you have used with the complementary colors red and green, and you for sure know how to use your pallet knife.

It is also a feel of motion in this painting, and great textures to be seen. Great shapes and lines as well. I think this is a great looking and well done painting Ray.
