This is just lovely ! I like the simplicity , the single leaf placed against the black background allows such a good look at the leaf and the details you have brought out. I like that the leaf stem is still attached.
This is well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones are natural.

Wonderful photograph of the dogwood leave. It is hard to tell which is more beautiful the flower or the leave. The colors of fall on this single leave is so nicely presented with great details and classic black background.

I especially like the simplicity of this photo and how the leaf is glowing being hit by the rays from the sun. You have also brought out so well the fine textures of the leaf, and with the all black background it is standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp, and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the leaf. The exposure is just spot on.
I also like the format and framing and the centered position of the leaf. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is very cool, the leaves do get pretty transparent when you start to turn colours and fall from lack of food, love how you did this, very nice, just one leaf and so simple and beautiful
