The very sight of this makes me shiver. All my life I have lived in a tropical climate and any temp below 20C makes me shiver. Very interesting pic in B&W.

This is actually gorgeous: a simple scene dressed in frosted and snow. The dark sky/background really makes the light of the frost and snow show up. Lovely work, as usual.

Welcome, my dear friend. Such beauty, enhanced from a simple scene but also of beauty with the frost and snow, that seemingly pop.

This scene looks like a mystical wonderland. The frost on the trees gives a feeling off frigid cold yet appears to be an enchanted place.

The road or pathway gives a sense of reality and beacons the visitor to venture forth into anew and frosty world.

The details of frost in the trees is enhanced by the park lights.

Good eye for seeing this one Pat ~ Steve

Wow this look so amazing the blackened skyline against the frosty trees and snow is an excellent contrast and I agree that the lights on the trees make them glow. Lovely composition and great handling of settings to achieve the shot.

Absolutely beautiful despite the cold temperatures.
Great details and nice colors; especially the hint of pastel on the snow.
I have take some colored snow images that I will post soon- so unusual, at least for me.
The frost and dark evening sky fit together beautifully.
Pat, thank you for sharing.

I love this night picture! At first sight I thought it was an infra-red photo. It could be. Great framing, great light! I'm just in love with it, maybe because I don't have snow here....

Thank you so much ! It was cold but when it gets cold and frosty I love the way it makes the trees look! We have had a lot of snow here this winter so far, in fact it is snowing right now!

Hi Pat, What a ghostly world you have created with the white snow and dark of night! Love how every branch has snow clinging to it! Your imagination can create all kinds of imaginary visions here. I've always loved looking at clinging snow. Your image is wonderful! :o) Nancy
