Wow Steve this is such a moving photograph. The clouds breaking the light of the sun as it sets and the colors are stunning and then the waves rolling in mimic the clouds above. Excellent composition and technical skills.

Beautiful work of the even more beauty God hath created. Love the oranges, yellows, blues toward front. Appears somewhat heavenly. Nice rock-like formations in the front. Intriguing title and commentary.

This is a really beautiful image!! The colours are stunning!! The filter really adds interest, layers of smoke/fog add depth. It also gives the image a mystical storytelling fiber. Very cool, creative. Thanks for sharing

This is a magical click!! I literally have to rub my eyes in disbelief to allow this stunner of a shot to sink in. It's incredibly beautiful in terms of overall composition and just so dramatic in terms of colour tones. And then, I found the accompanying narrative you built highly interesting. My standing ovation ð??? and six stars

I think this would look awesome as the cover /poster for a sci-phi movie : "The Voyage of the Dawn People" by Howard Dumas or some such... lol Very mystical... My admiration, thanks for sharing!

I especially like the feel of motion you have created in the sky, and of course also the fantastic golden colors. I also like how lovely the rays from the sky are falling on the foreground rocks, and how well you have pictured the incoming waves.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in the rocky area, and the exposure is perfect.

I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and with the rocks off to the left, it is a fine balance in the composition. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo Steve, and with an excellent DOF.

Wow BFF!

this is truly amazing!

It reminds me of the Moody Blues song "I Know You're Out There Somewhere", one of my favorites.

the colors are so beautiful with the landscape and the heavens so wonderfully done.
Just perfect my BFF.

Wether you took this with your IPhone or a stand alone camera this is spectacular. The sun on the rocks makes this photo. Great detail thought out. You took this with a fast shutter. Did you take one with a slow shutter? If so I would like to see it.

Thank you very much photoman12 for your great review and Grand rating.

I shot this with my iPhone. I normally shoot these wave type scenes with burst mode (10 -12 frames per second). This was one of a burst of 8 -10 or so. I did not take any with a slow shutter speed. I have that app but this didn't seen to be the right time use it. I took this in Puerto Vallarta just off the malicon.

Thank you again photoman12 for your review and Grand rating ~ Steve

Such dramatic photograph presented with great creativity.

The use of mixed media add the dimension of the space and the beauty of life on Earth.

The rocks with the emerging dark sunset look like sea lions stretching on the beach.
Wonderful colors and great presentation.
