An excellent shot. The cropping is perfect and the colors are great. I like the detail in both the dark feathers and the white head. Great feet and a beautiful eye.

The Eagle looks even fiercer than at your previous photo. I guess that the bird sees some pray. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and textures and the realism of blight and color. The bird is 4excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Eagles are arriving on the Illinois river about 70 miles from me. I have a 600mm lens to use. I am interested going to photograph them. This is a fantastic photo of ours Country's Bird. I'll have to go to the river and hope to get something half as good as yours.

Oh they are so much fun to watch and even more fun to photograph! I used a 70/ 300mm Lens at 135 mm shutter 1/2000, F 8 ISO 200, you really have to watch that white head, too much light will blow it out! I find eagles to be the easiest birds to capture in flight too! You will see what I mean when you go to photograph them! Good luck to you!

WOW. How gracious of this beauty to land on the perfect piece of driftwood for this photograph. You captured his/her intense stare so nicely. Getting the light right on these birds without blowing out the white feathers on their heads is hard to do. You have done that really well here. So lovely to view.

Again, cracking capture ! He is proud and majestic! Very sharp/clear. It couldn't be any better if you had paid this guy to pose for you! I wonder what he was looking at? Looks like he is ready to hunt .

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this adult Bald Eagle perched on the grey drift wood stump it's golden eye fixed on you, the sunlight highlighting it's plumage. The blue sky making the perfect backdrop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
