Wow Susan. Now this is my kind of photo. The colors are so bold yet at the same time so pastel subtle.
The silhouetted trees and roof line are such wonderful additions to the scene in the sky.

I don't pay attention often to photos of sunsets, because they seem like such a common subject for so many photographers . But his one just stopped in me my tracks. Besides the gorgeous color of the sky, you have caught such an interesting foreground shadowed in front of it. Especially those bare branched trees on the right and the chimneys on the roofs of the hidden homes.

It's got a Dark and Mysterious tone ( one that puts me in mind of 'apocalyptic poetry' such as 'The Wasteland' with it's mention of 'the blood-dinned tide'! ) and that's just the sort of thing that I really like! : )
