That is a lovely memory to have, thanks for sharing it. There is nothing better than fresh tomatoes of the vine!! I can't wait for summer again! The colours in your painting and the textures, to me, are what I imagine that burst of flavor looks like in visual form. Demanding all our attention and intersected with the different flavors, especially with salf;) Thanks for sharing

Hi Ray, this is another abstract art piece, it is such a colorful piece , a nice combination of the warm orange, red and greens , as well as the earthy brown tones with just bits of white. I like the memory of your grandfather and his garden which inspired this work, I have a similar memory with an aunt and uncle that I spent summers with in Connecticut as a child , they had a huge garden too!
I have studied this and guess what? I see a wooded area with a tent on the left and a large brown bear standing facing the front of the tent, once I saw it , I can't unsee it, I see tree branches reaching in from the right to left, I see several other faces throughout this piece and I'm sure if I continued to look, I would see more! I like the bits of light you have scattered through this piece and of course the dark tones give good depth.
This was fun to view! Well presented!
