Your close-up shot is intriguing. How the Monarch claws the flower and sucks nectar from the little yellow blossom is interesting. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. The sharpness of detail and texture and the realism of color and light are impressive. The photo is perfect composed. The butterfly and its flower are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Very beautiful! I like the blurred green background. It is a great contrast for the colors of the butterfly and the flower. I don't see many butterflies where we live. This one is a beauty.

A very pleasing photo all around! I like the muted background, perfectly posed Monarch, and the zinnia blossom, which is a bit unusual (in my state anyway) for Monarchs to land. Beautiful colors.
