A wonderful scene captured here Pat. At first glance it reminds me of the hot pools of Yellowstone Park in the winter. The mist is justice the steam rising from the hot water.
Good eye for seeing this one. The mist adds such a nice element and is contrasted by the beautiful blues of the water.
The lighting on the mountain on the left really frames the lake.

How the mist rises from the lake is indeed impressive. Apparently, winter arrived early. I see snow at the shoreline and the mountains. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

The angle of the shot of this pond surrounded by snow with mountains in background is great. Nice SkyView as well.nthe capture of the light is great. Yeah we are back in the 70's and 80's perfect for the snowbirds that run down here during winter.. however the summers are so peaceful when they go back..lolol..

Beautiful light. Like how you have caught the fog on the water and also sitting in the valley behind the trees in the middle, and then some more little higher over the mountain on the right, while on the left we see the clearer mountain with snow and its many sharp edges leading down to the tree line.
