I really love the pose you took this picture of this beautiful gray heron. I love these birds because they are so elegant looking. They have such beautiful elongated bodies. I love their feathers the colors are so beautiful. Outstanding photography my friend thank you so much for sharing

I have never seen a heron preening in our area; maybe they do it on the other side of the Channel and come to France when they are clean; lol;

This is a wonderful photo, love the log he chose, the colours and your focus is right on! Looks like he is separating each feather for a good cleaning, great photo of one of my favorite birds
