Beautiful image! It is perfect for this contest!! I like your composition choice, the road leads the viewer's eye into the distance. The trees are beautiful with the snow stuck to them. I got a good chuckle out of your story!! The hot chocolate is definitely the better choice lol!! I might have warmed up your white balance, to take some of the grayness out of the image...it makes the snow seem more inviting;) Thanks for sharing, best of luck in the contest!

Indeed, you should have stayed home. It will be impossible to toy a truck out of that snow. Nevertheless, the winter landscape is intriguing. I like how the road lead the eyes of the viewers into the background. The pristine snow looks beautiful. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I appreciate the refinement of detail and the realism of color and light. The white balance is perfect. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
