This is such a gorgeous painting of a candle wow I love how you lit the background with the orange and the yellow and white I love the darkness of the background as well this is such a phenomenal drawing. Beautiful work here!! The details are impressive. The shading and reflected light lend a lot of realism to the piece. The colours are nice and warm, making the environment seem cozy. However, I would be caution you to take your signature out of the corner. This is a blind contest, you could be disqualified. You still have time to edit before the contest closes. Best of luck!!

This candle looks so beautiful with the wax running down its sides, and the flame is really well done. I also like the fine shine in the candle holder and the darkness of the background. But I especially like the way you have used the light.
It is easy to see that this was done paying a very good attention to details, and you have also used high lights so well. The brush work is excellent.
The format and framing is perfect, and it looks good with the candle centered. A truly lovely and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest. Think you need to take away the signature though, because this is a blind contest.

And the lit candle was placed in the window. With the smell of tallow in the air. The soft glow lights the immediate area. The drips grab a glow too. very nicely done. Good luck in the contest.
