I love the simplicity of the photo. I like how the flame looks real. The solid black background made it feel so solemn. Even the gold tin can look alive.

Simplicity - an under valued and/or appreciated virtue.
And you have captured that simplistic value so very well. Minimal colors that enhance and support each other. Dramatic short scale contrast is a definite eye catcher.
This simple composition has such power it grabs the viewers eye and sooths the mind.

The simplicity is rich and made complex in beauty. Really like that candle, the color and the glow on its top as well as its position like its being held up of its own. The dark background brings it all out.

Beautiful photograph very simple of a lit candle. I really love the colors that you see in candles when you like them the gold the orange. I love that you've added a dark background it makes a candle really stand out. Beautiful photography my friend and good luck in the contest

This is an awesome entry for the contest, I love the simplicity! It's a round candle in a jar with a metal lid, I like the way you have placed the candle and the lid over the jar.
The black background is perfect .
You have photographed it so well with good focus, this image is sharp and clear, the light from the candle gives off such a warm glow.
