Lovely! The colors in the sky are beautiful and I love the dark rocks in the water to contrast them. It looks so peaceful and relaxing.

Simply Gorgeous, Steve! It could be a photo of the Earth before life emerged from the ocean to invade the land. Love how the setting sun has set fire to the clouds above, which in turn have gilded the sea and wave kissed beach below. A beautifully composed scene of serenity and Nature's majesty. A perfect entry for this contest, wish you all the best!

Thank you Carina for your wonderful review and rating.

I have just recently started art in oil classes. I am about to finish my second painting. So very much to learn. I had thought of attempting to paint this one but is is too far beyond my capabilities.

I would love to see your pastel rendition of this. You have the expertise and talent to bring this one to life.

Thank you again for your review and Grand rating ~ Steve

Beautiful fiery skies caught above, on the water and even on the shore! Steve you were definitely there at the right time to capture this beautiful shot! I think you caught it at the very peak of beauty. I can't even imagine leaving until I saw every bit of this glorious sunset!!!! While I was enjoying it all ,my ears would be listening to the surf as it caressed the shore! Beautiful job of capturing this and an awesome image for the contest! Good Luck My Friend! :o) Nancy

    Hey Nancy,

Thank you so very much for your rating and great rating.

Between you and me in these instances I somehow become part of the entire scene and most of the time I don't remember taking the picture. It just kind of takes itself. I am only the observer. I hope that makes sense ~ Steve

Beautifully captured and mixed in editing to present a lovely painting. The dramatic sky paired with low key reflections on the water give this an impressive initial impact. The dof is well done with clear focus throughout. A wonderful entry to the contest, best wishes!

An excellent looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that beautiful sea sunset developing before you. Like the waves. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are spot on. Great photo and good luck!

Wow, this is an excellent presentation with a 10 value-
you have chosen a perfect position, choosing the perfect angle to create such an outstanding content with the disappearing son, and the two black parts inside the water creating such white pieces aorund it
A really special content, very harmonious with super sharpness and found at a perfect moment as the nature has such color combination that it is very attractive, awesome - happy Holliday

This is a spectacular shot, the colors are vibrant. The surf is crisp and clear. The fore ground reflects the orangey glow on the sand. The shot is well balanced and well framed. Very nice capture. Ray G.
