Sweet capture of an Adult
Pied-billed Grebe Barbara.
The vertical stripe on the bill only happens during breeding time, so this one is mature and has a mate or is looking for one.
These birds are like tiny submarines the way they go underwater then pop up feet away.
Great capture with nice eye clarity.

Your camera acumen is evident with this shot. focus is tack sharp and halts all motion. Colors are natural in tone and hue. White balance control is accurate with no blown out whites.
The framing is very good, it shows the Grebe in a nice profile, good work ... Bob
