That squirrel is definitely ready for winter! He looks pretty fat, so I think he will be fine. Great painting and good details. Well done!

This is a very well made oil painting of a winter scene. The depiction of the squirrel surrounded by a multitude of snow-shapes against the dark sky makes interesting viewing. Besides the scene is realistically painted. Good luck in the contest!

So very cute. The facial is excellent. The body form and language is great. The depth is great..the details is great. The shading is great. The blend of the colors is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and awesome work overall.

This is absolutely delightful. Your artwork is realistic but with an artists flare that I love. Your composition is balanced. I like the offcentre approach that allows a view of the wider space thus giving depth the the overall presentation. The tree bark is great.. i love the hole and store of nuts. Its very round and those nuts are very large.. but it all goes together. A very good entry.
