I too had the honorable blessing to see this magnificent work of art. It was even more remarkable than any photograph I had seen up to that time.

Bona Pasqua, Happy Easter. This is fine rendering of the Pieta. I remember the Pieta from the 1965 World's Fair in Queens New York. I was mesmerized then as I am mesmerized when I look at this wonderful piece. The shading is precise, the folds in the draping material are done with precision, the legs are shaded beautifully. This a very impressive piece. I remember, vividly the veins in Christ's arms, wow. Good luck to you in the contest. Ray G.

Bona Pasqua, Happy Easter. This is fine rendering of the Pieta. I remember the Pieta from the 1965 World's Fair in Queens New York. I was mesmerized then as I am mesmerized when I look at this wonderful piece. The shading is precise, the folds in the draping material are done with precision, the legs are shaded beautifully. A nice religious presentation but this called dead has not been very long as Jesus did not die - he survived and this moment was the moment he seemed to be dead, and your creative detailed work is excellent in all details, your color choice and application is excellent as there are so many sections in only two bodies that it is outstanding - well done xoxo

This is gorgeous, professional work. Sorry I did not have a "6". I really like your realistic work, love the ones that glorify our Savior. Fantastic folds, drawing indeed. A touching story. Seems it is of a loving Mother (Mary) who held Christ as a baby now after His death. I am not familiar with the work so I just interpret what it means to me.

what a great drawing of the pieta I have painted this one it is really interesting how Micheal Angelo but a full mans body in the lap of a woman she would have to be large to say the least beautiful work here

This is beautiful, stunning in every way! The details are intricate with such clarity. Excellent light and shading that creates appealing depth.
