Jack,
A beautiful picture of this pair of American Red Squirrels as the raid the contents of your bird feeder. While the one on the right appears to be interested in eating the one on the left I think is watching you closely, the light sparkling in his eye it's tail curled over itself. The grass creating a beautiful & contrasting backdrop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

Jack where im originally from we call these critters tree rats..yep they would rob from anything that has their food. i have seen many a battles between these critters and the birds. that is what gave me the idea to create that music video "backyard warriors" that is currently streaming on Youtube.com (look up my name there)..it is a tale of a battle between the squirrels and the birds over the bird feeder..check it out..its only a few minutes long. interesting capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of these tree rats on the grass is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

I been defending the feeders for years, even if I succeed they eventually they find a way into it. Right now I am at winning stretch; feeder has not been invited for three weeks.

Very interesting story. The grasses are so pretty, lush and green. The two brave squirrels are rather pretty especially the one sitting in the open unashamed to be a crook. Fine photograpy that the capture is so close.

It is evident that those two little thieves are experienced. The look feed well. Their body expressions make me smile. They are bandits, but they are also cute.
Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and is expertly treated with mixed media. Taking out the bird feeder was a good idea. The feeder would have been a distraction. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The animals are well placed within the frame. Their diagonal presentation pleases the equilibrium of the viewers. The mixed media is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
