This was a challenge by cleo85 who sent a round robin for entries. I found him in Newcastle in a central courtyard of Northumbian University Art and Craft shop. Now that was a great shop for materials

so very cool. the body form and language of this metal man is great. the details is great. the depth is great. the shading is great. the blend of the colors is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Amazing creation with metal parts--fine process. Unique image, metal robot like, pieced together. Nice orange windows or doors, small compared to the "thing". Nice metal sculpture. Best wishes.

Very creative and interesting piece. I thought this was from your imagination but impressed that it actually exists. You did a great job with the composition and juxtaposing the buildings next to it conveying a sense of its immensity. Only criticism is that it doesn't really come off looking like metal. Metal typically has texture from objects it reflects on its surface. There are also white highlights as light usually glistens off metal. Other than that it's a great piece with lots of movement and energy.

Thank yoh for reviewing. I went back to mycreferrnce photos in view of uour comments. The metal man was mistly coloured car parts or rust and I found the shading wasnt really reflective but taking on board your highlites and using artists prerogative I have added some. I enjoyed doing this and think it is better.

This is a fine fantasy creation of a mechanical man made from car parts. I see cogs, gears, a fan, several door handles, various straps, air filters, piston parts and a push button AM /FM radio. Very nicely done. Good luck in the contest. Ray
