Wonderful Painting of the lilacs tiny blooms so nicely presented with the butterflies; great choice for showing the size difference. Great contrasting colors and details on the fine petals of the shrub, blooming around this time for the Easter.

The butterflies are nice. One of the leaves is exaggerated it seems. The purples in the flowers and background are nice. It has several vivid colors. Some are more subdued; yet, a nice painting with acrylics.

You are welcome. No, I didn't know that much about the flowers. But you did really nice work, including the nice brush strokes in the background. I'm learning much on here and just today a friend, originally from Spain, and who does well with flowers, spoke of Lilacs as she had them among her flowers several years back. Thanks for sharing. I learned more about this flower.

You have caught the texture and representstive tiny flowers of lilacs. The colours throughout are lively and I like the arrangement that the branch of lilac is offset with your two butterflies looking like cardinals in opposite colours that really bring out the background. Good luck this is very appealing.
