Beautiful colors. Well balanced composition and nice articulation on everything especially the butterflies. Not sure what the brown object on the left is and is somewhat distracting. Also not sure violet was the best background color as is somewhat dissipates the beautifully done lilacs. Maybe that's the effect you wanted. Overall a great painting.

that brown object is the lilac branch, lol,,, I did not want the background to distract so I did it a little lighter, as if the rest of the tree was in the background, thanks for your review

So cool and colorful. The body forms and language of these colorful butterflies is great. The shading is excellent. The depth is great. The details is excellent. The blend of the colors is excellent. The presentation is balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. So creative and awesome work overall (clapping)

This is such a colorful presentation. The purple in the lilacs and the orange and yellow in the butterflies and the green leaves. the back ground work very well. You have a great eye for design. Good luck in the color contest. Ray

It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The colour really speaks here. I also like the gentle touch to the composition which seems to lead the delicateness of the flowers and the butterflies. Good luck!

thank you, I love to paint butterflies, the lilacs were a little challenging but they turned out really well
