A pink dogwood---a favorite of mine! They are so lacy and feminine. Since you selected this tree with darker green leaves in the background, it really stands out. Lovely colors and good cropping.

Thank you, artist friend. You are very kind. I don't know what whether removing the trees would or leaving as is. I just had a strange illnesses hit, coing out of it. What country are you from, if you don't mind? I've enjoyed other of your posts. Please do stop by again.

I live in a small town about an hour west of St. Louis. In 1804 Lewis and Clark sailed by here on the Missouri River! I see that you were born in Virginia. I'm a native Nebraskan but my husband and I lived in Virginia from 1972-1998 and loved the state. We were in Alexandria, Reston, and Leesburg. The dogwood trees in Jamestown and Williamsburg were some of the first I ever saw. Old Dominion is SUCH a beautiful state! Get well!

It's such a beautiful flowering tree with the pink blossoms , it stands out so well from the lush green grass and the trees that have filled in with leaves!
Well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!

Thank you artist friend. From Virginia. About the only things yet, here are the two pink dogwoods we planted and the grasses that have come naturally. There is one wild dogwood and the cherry trees have bloomed. First time back since Saturday. A strange illness, recovering flowly. Thanks again for the kind review, stopping by.

What a beautiful yard you have Glena! I like how you have composed this shot with the tree slightly off center. I see great depth with clear focus throughout. The natural tones are pleasing and I really like the bright pink against the greens, nice contrast. Well done and best wishes for the contest!

This photo shows perfectly that spring arrived. The blooming tree looks incredible between the green grass and the blue sky. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the refinement of detail and the realism of light and color. The landscape is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
