What a nice capture of this Mistle Thrush. Having a worm in its beak is a real bonus.

The sharpness and detail are well done. The colors are natural and well rendered.

Very nice work Susan ~ Steve

I really like this bird and it's placement within the frame. Well captured with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural, I see the mealworm in its beak.
Well composed and presented!

What a huge explanation and your picture is well taken with such a beautiful bird with a special color combination on his/her body, at a special place as the background shows us all your explications -
a nice created picture with harmonious content, taken for super angle and position, and your frame choice is again well applied.
Very attractive bird, thanks for sharing, xoxo

This is a beautiful capture of a beautiful bird. Looks enlarged and more detailed, the grasses are so fresh as are the small flowers. The water in the background is nice as are the concrete columns, parts seen.

    Glena,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Mistle Thrush. The flowers are lawn Daisies & Dandelions. It's above the river on a grass patch beside the road that's behind the pillars.

Apparently, this bird knows what is nourishing and tasty. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed. The bird has a good placement within the frame. The composition is balanced.
I appreciate the interesting information about the species in your comments.

    James,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Mistle Thrush. I was standing on the path along the river. The grass was at shoulder level. I held the camera above my head & zoomed in on the Bird (Not full zoom, which is x 30 optical zoom)

A beautiful bird that resembles the American Robin except for the red breast of the robin. A very nice shot with great detail in the bird and wonderful colors.

    Mike,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Mistle Thrush ~ Turdus Viscivorus where the American Robin ~ Turdus migratorius. Both members of the Thrush family of birds. They both run along the ground & fly off in the same fashion ( saw the American Robin when I was staying in Grosse Pointe Farms, Detroit & in Berkley, California. The European Robin is a Flycatcher. The Pilgrim Fathers seeing a bird with a redbreast named it a Robin.
There have been a couple of attempts to introduce Our Robin to America but it was not successful.
Thank too for your most welcome SIX star rating.
