A very attractive image. I like this somewhat unorthodox composition that shows the detail in the grasses behind the thrush. Great colors and excellent details.

    Mike,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Thrush.
It was running about in the grass at quiet a pace I focused on the area I through it might run into & waited a few second before it did.
My camera it starting to give me problems I think I may need to replace it soon.

Very good capture, Susan, showing the Mistle Thrush with two worms wriggling in its beak before it flies back to the nest. The grass looks very lush and provides an ideal backdrop. I like the frame you added, too. Very good camera techniques. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Mistle Thrush with wriggling worms in it's beak...I have a feeling the grass will be mown in a day or two... it's about two weeks since it was mown.

    Mark,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Mistle Thrush with wriggling worms in it's beak. Both parents were collecting worms to feed their nestlings in a tree on the other bank of the river Dodder.

This is such an interesting bird , I can see the worms in its beak.
I like the speckled pattern of this bird.
Well captured with good focus, this image is clear , exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. The bird stands out so well from the fresh green grass!
Well composed and presented!
