Your artwork is charming. I like that you show the Rose in the process of opening. The soft light, and the color shades of the petals are fascinating. The painting is excellent composed and framed. The tight framing is sufficient. The composition is balanced.

The traditional art of this blooming rose is really well created as your angle and position are letting us look at it from above creating just the center and showing us that the flower is very larger. Your mixed media application for the colors are well implicated with special yellow and red sections, so the result is good, all the best of luck, xoxo

Your 'Blooming Rose' looks wonderful as far as I'm concerned,my friend!
I'm not 'much into' Horticulture ( or Botany in general. ) but I'm certainly enjoying the gorgeous coloration this image has!
