I enjoy deciphering abstract photography and artworks. In my opinion, your photo accident turned into a photo treasure. This abstract photograph that you produced also reminds me of pastel colored floating balloons. Thanks for thinking 'outside of the box' and being willing to post your 'Accidental Abstract'.

Thank you, VMarguarite! The image was really quite a surprise. I hadn't realized that I had taken it. I do love the colors in it.

Well that is certainly a different way to get an abstract.. lol... it worked very well. The image is colourful and apoealing to the eye. There is movement too as the colours seem to streak and blurr to each otheg. Not a bad entry. Good luck.

Thank you for your kind review. Yes, this was taken with my iPhone when I had accidentally turned the camera on and unknowingly tripped the shutter.

hey the artist can slap all kinds of colors with really no rhyme or reason and call it a abstract,..why not photographers can do the same right? lol. interesting capture. the blend of colors that you have brought out is cool. the clarity is good. the capture of the light is good. the shape and design is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and great job overall.

There definitely was no rhyme or reason to this image because I hadn't even realized I took it...lol. But I loved how the colors came together. Thank you for your comments!

Wonderful and so creative photograph that captures the imagination of the viewer so well.
The way the colors transitions from light to dark and how they are arranged within the frame are so soothing and nice to view.
As accidents happen, they can create a wonderful result and with your talented vision you have seen the unique beauty in it.

What an awesome entry for this contest, I especially like the notes, telling how this came to be, my initial impression was that I am looking at a flower , looking closer, I feel like this is a silk scarf, blowing in the wind. I love the yellow, gold, orange blue and green , I also get a sense of motion starting from lower left , swirling slightly and moving upward.
Live the way you filled the frame!
Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thank you! What was it that painter Bob Ross used to call it? Happy mistake or something like that. LOL. The only way I figured out what the image was, was because I accidentally took another photo with no motion and I could figure out where the colors came from.
