LOL...a long lens is definitely a must have item. It helps that she was close enough to the road that I (and the 50 other people could retreat to our cars if she ventured too close (there is a 100 yard minimum distance of separation rule). Thank you for your comments!

wildlife shot for sure and makes for good viewing and must have been good to see this,my only thought is that tree sticking out beyond the bear but still it would have been difficult to get another angle in this better to take something rather than miss it...Brian
