Fantastic. As I am a town a nd city girl well old lady, at least a third of my tv viewing is of any nature programs.They are both beautiful, horrific and educational. As a dp refugee, parentless, foreigner etc I know that many human beings are much closer in behaviour to animal counter-parts than we like to admit and though everyone says my paintings are always bright, even when I portray our worst moments, until death, the sun always shines. What is the worst scenario of all will be when Andromeda eats up the earth and all about it and plunges all our corner of the universe into darkness.

An interesting picture of the Bison her calf with a Coyte creeping up in the background, looking as if it would be a danger to the calf rather than waiting for the placenta/ afterbirth to be delivered. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

the coyote is about to have many hundred pounds of trouble! lol.. im very familiar how quick temper these buffalos get. wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the bison and calf with coyote getting brave is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

You definitely don't want to cross paths with an angry bison especially a momma. Right after I took the shot she was up and standing between her baby and the coyote.

back in the 70's when i was in the army i was stationed at Ft. Sill, Ok. and the wildlife refuge is next to the base. one day i decided to grab my lil 110 camera and take some picture in the refuge. so i saw a mama with her calf and i got i out of the car and walk just a few feet from the car to take a photo. now the bisons were about 50 yards out..i look thru the camera and i see mama get up and start to charge towards me. lucky me i left the car running. i barley got in the car and put in drive off seeing that she missed my car by inches..i never tried that again..lol..
