This is such a beautiful and well done drawing of the basset hound. Your skills working with pencil to bring out the shadings and highlights is evident here. I want to reach out and pet him.

This looks like a photo not a pencil piece. Great details on this relaxed pup. Eyes are perfect. Even though the background is the same. It does not compete with the pup.
