This is incredible, I thought it was a b&w photo! What a gorgeous rendering of your beloved Luca, I especially love those fantastic eyes that look as though they could see deep within ones soul. incredible texture in Luca's fur, I feel like I could reach out and feel the softness of your dogs coat. What a superb image for this contest, sorry I can't give you more than a 6 as this truly deserves a higher rating, best wishes to you!

I had to read the description twice to have it sink in that this was a drawing. You have captured a perfect photographic quality in this post. The eyes are so lifelike and even his muzzle and whiskers are crisp. The DOF has the muzzle reaching out to be petted. Outstanding work.

The tight portrait framing of Luca is pleasing to the viewers eye. Every dog just like humans has their own unique look driven by their personality and you got this one pegged - superb timing for this take.
The B&W suits Luca, you can plainly see a bright and vibrant companion.
