Your lake has many different visitors. This coot is one smart looking duck and the duckling is so cute for a coot. The shot is cropped down I guess for intimate reasons. Very nicely portrayed. Thank you for sharing. Ray

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Coot with her chick head up hoping she will give it what she has in her beak. The pale sky reflected on the lake is an added bonus. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Your picture is wonderful and special as there are black created sections in the water - your position is again well-chosen, with the perfect angle, so we can see this baby in this wonderful position, I love it again my dear friend, did you cropped the further content as there were more animals behind?
