The boat is pretty, kinda lonely looking; the sky with its blues and pales is nice, the water and blue strips, horizon are nice, the broken up of the Morcombe Bay is nice.

I like the simplicity in this as the lone boat looks slightly as if its been left by its owner and forgotten,sure thats not the case,but it is a good focus on the sea beds there,nice photo...Brian

That eye of yours again. You are right, amazing scene, that sand! As it is Sunday and sunny, I was going to rush through and maybe not review then I saw this. Your eye was without a doubt on alert..Why blue? was the sand blue or to give a tone to sailing?

Definitely looks like someone is high and dry! i especially like the abstract pattern created by the rivulets of water trapped in the sand, which help draw the eye into your photo. The grounded boat gives the scene a sense of isolation. Very well composed and nicely presented!

Excellent use of negative space in combination with the subdued lighting on the eye catching subject. Great story telling potential as well. To be super picky, I would love to have seen this same shot from the photographer (you) sprawled out at ground level. Still a great shot nonetheless!

Your photo is impressive. The hazy air creates a somewhat mystical appearance. Apparently, the tide is out, leaving tide pools and runoffs at the sand. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has impressive depth. I appreciate the refinement of details and textures. The seascape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
