I missed this somehow and saw it in the entries for the competition . It is a remarkable likeness of Mother Teresa's in her classical pose. I was a big fan of hers and I so admire your sketch ability. This is so good in so many details. It has character and life.

First of all, I am a fan of Mother Teresa, and I am glad that she is your subject. You captured her popular serene expression while she is praying. Very detailed.

Wow this creative presentation is so well created with such an outstanding explanation that this picture is again outstanding as it is a historical person. Your detailed work applications are fantastic and your color choice with only black and white is so well created that it is attractive again and also with this history - a really special idea again -
Congratulations again as I only say this word for outstanding contents - xoxo

This is a wonderful portrait of the great Mother Teresa of Calcutta. A very devout woman who put the needy before herself. You pulled out all the stops with this one Sesha. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

well drawn. Familiar names, Mother Teresa- and forgive me, as it is called in England, the black hole of Calcutta. I am a fan of Rudyard Kipling's. English stories are very different in description to my now passed away, Indian friend, who used to write descriptions to me-so beautiful of his India!! India is such a perfect nature- haven that humanity there, as well as nature possibly over-produces. I agreed with our extended family aunt, Indira, that like China, India needed sharp birth control, but ofcourse, so many of her men in charge were corrupt and India remains a chaotic country, with more work in its organisation than can possibly be imagined. However, when I went to Nanital, I saw places where one could sit down quietly too and quite fancied a home on the hillsides. I wonder why you used black. To me the obvious colour would be blue. I don't know if you know, but those stripes are also on Rabbi's robes, and are made of a certain blue found only from shellfish of the Red Sea. A worthy portrait.

Yes. In India, she is popularly known as Mother Teresa or the 'Mother'. The blue colour is only for the borders of her dress. I just wanted to show it as a purely B&W art.I am very glad you liked it. Thank you so much for the positive review and support. I really appreciate it.

yes I know. The Rabbis have the same border. Some of my old paintings show them. It was something taught me by Rabbi Rothschild, at Leeds Synagogue, being instructed that year.
